Project Translator/Interpreters

PKF (UK) LLP is leading the implementation of a 3-year European Union- funded project of Institutional Strengthening of the State Audit and Administrative Control Bureau based in Ramallah. Due to the significant training component of this project PKF is seeking to contract Arabic-English
translator/interpreters on a full time basis under a fee-based framework contract arrangement for a period of 12-15 months.

The translator/interpreter should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing interpretation and translation services and be prepared to work in an area with a technical emphasis on accountancy, audit and financial management. Preference will be given to a candidate with international project experience, and public sector experience would be an advantage.

The translator/interpreter’s duties will include
-interpretation at training events
-on-the-job coaching and mentoring where English-speaking
-audit experts will work alongside Arabic speaking teams.
-The translator/interpreter may also be expected to translate training materials and associated
reports, tables, charts, memos, presentations, etc. and other professional
duties as required.

Candidates must be experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel.
