QADER for Community Development is a local NGO dedicated to promoting better wellbeing of persons with disabilities.

QADER is the local technical partner for the municipalities of Jericho, Beit Fajjar, Halhoul, Idna, and Yatta, for implementing multiple projects titled “Addressing the social needs of persons with disabilities through the Local Authority” in the cities and towns of partner municipalities, funded by the Italian Government (Palestinian Municipalities Support Programmed - PMSP) through the Palestinian Ministry of Local Government – Directorate General of Joint Service Councils.

The design of the projects utilized a development model in the framework of the PMSP strategy in the social development sector, which aims at addressing the needs of persons with disabilities within a decentralized approach that relies on the evolving institutional functioning of the Local authorities in the social/disability sector.

In the Framework of these projects, QADER is seeking a qualified projects coordinator to work within its team.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL

-Provide assistance to the Projects Manager and the Senior Disability Specialist in the day-to-day implementation and administration of QADER technical support and services.
-Contribute to the overall review of the implementation plans, including the preparatory and operational needs of the projects.
-Coordinate logistics support and ensure that the planned activities are carried out effectively and in timely manner.
-Liaise with implementing partners on coordination and execution of activities.
-Provide support in developing TORs for trainings, and consultancies and other services in the various priority areas.
-Oversee and manage implementation of project activities in close collaboration with key members of QADER’s team and partner municipalities.
-Follow-up on the timeliness, accuracy and quality of deliverables and reports from the partner municipalities.
-Ensure efficient internal monitoring of the project, and compliance with funder’s requirements.
-Collaborate to the writing of narrative reports, case studies, press releases, and other documents, as required.

SPECIFIC
-Prepare for workshops and meetings, and prepare minutes and reports accordingly, and follow up results with all concerned parties.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all activities, and prepare analytical reports accordingly.
-Contribute to the planning, preparation, implementation of the needs assessment in the projects’ locations.
-Contribute to the planning, preparations, and oversight of various procurement activities.
-Contribute to the planning, preparations for recruitment processes.
-Preparation of, and oversight of projects M&E Plans, and provide accurate information on the various projects in timely manner.


QUALIFICATIONS
  ACADEMIC ATTAINMENT & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

-At least Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a related field, Masters Degree is a plus.
-At least 4 years of proven experience in managing / coordination of development projects.
-Previous experience in planning and conducting/overseeing needs assessment at the community level.
-Previous experience in Procurement.
