Projects Manager

Sharek Youth Forum is a leading Palestinian organization working on the development of youth and children, with offices in more than 22 localities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The organization is seeking a qualified young professional to work as a Projects Manager at the organization’s Headquarters & Activities Center in Ramallah:

The successful candidate will:
-Manage a diverse portfolio of projects in the fields of youth economic empowerment, children enrichment, social innovation, media, and advocacy.
-Draft project and program documents and proposals, including log-frames, work-plans, and budgets.
-Control project budgets, and coordinate with the financial department on project spending plans and reports.
-Perform fundraising activities, schedule meeting with potential funders, and hold fundraising events.
-Monitor and evaluate projects implementation.
-Supervise a team of project coordinators in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
-Attend local and international meetings relevant to the organization’s work.
-Assure that project’s implementation is done in line with the overall organization’s strategy.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development, Public Administration, or relevant field. Master’s degree holders preferred.
-Minimum of three years progressive experience in working in developmental projects. 
-Proven experience in project management and proposal writing.
-Commitment to providing quality results and service.
-Receptive to feedback and committed to learning for growth and development.
-Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly.
-Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining collaborative relationships.
-Ability to communicate information effectively.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Thorough knowledge of Internet, MS Office and other technological tools.
-Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic.
-Flexible to frequent travel in the West Bank and outside the country

Place of Work: Sharek Youth Forum’s Headquarters & Activities Center –Al-Tireh/Ramallah.
Duration of Contract: 3 months probation period subject to renewal based on performance.
