Property Management Specialist/Technician

Position: Property Management Specialist/Technician
Location: Tulkarem with frequent travel in the West Bank

Overview

In the framework of the European Union Funded project “Technical assistance to support the High Judicial Council in Palestine”, Justice Coopération Internationale, mandated body of the French Ministry of Justice for development cooperation in the Justice/Rule of Law sector, is currently recruiting a Property management specialist/technician.

Experience
-Three or more years of practical experience as a technician or facilities manager, in charge of similar buildings (hospitals, hotels, ministry, etc.).
-Experience in a technical trades such as electrical, plumbing and construction is an asset

Competences
-Interfaces with the Chief of Diwan regularly to schedule and prioritize work activity based on court administration schedule.
-Prioritizes and schedules work activity. Plans work activity requiring multi-trade and/or contractor resources and requiring interface with occupants.
-Identifies, diagnoses and troubleshoots operational and technical issues
-Supervises the work activity of contractors and service providers.
-Ability to work from different locations in the northern West Bank, such as Tulkarem, Jenin, Qalqiliah and Salfeet.

Qualification
-Technical education or Higher Diploma, preferably in general building systems or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
-A degree in civil engineering with practical experience can be a substitute.
-Detailed technical understanding of and experience with building systems.
-Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks with proficiency, skill and quality.
-Self-directed, Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, including reporting.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills , computer skills
Languages
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
