Psychiatrist

The Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family (GTC) is a mental health services provider. GTC is a non-profit NGO located in Beth lehem.

Major Responsibilities:
-Provide direct diagnostic and treatment services to specific clients including individuals and families.
- Oversee the overall day to day functioning of the center especially the supervision of staff delivering mental health – related services including diagnostic and counseling services.
-Plan and supervise the research analysis of cases and surveys and compile statistics on local mental health problems
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals
- Plan and supervise the counseling staff’s researching and writing of publications
-Develop the psychiatric library and resource center for professionals and institutions
- Work with the administration and the Administrative Board in developing the center and its activities and services.
- Work with the administration in developing an annual operating plan
- Assist in the recruitment of mental health personnel to meet specified job description.
Qualifications:
-Psychiatrist M.D. (Preferably Child Psychiatrist)
-Licensed and acknowledged by the Palestinian Ministry of Health
-Does not have any full or part time job contract with any governmental health entity.
-Experienced in professional supervision
