Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organization committed to two objectives: providing medical aid whenever needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender, and raising awareness of the plight of the people who helps. MSF is working in more than 70 countries all around the world.

MSF –Spain is carrying out a psychological support program with medical and social component. The aim is to provide short-term psychotherapy to people affected by violence and conflict.

MSF-Spain is currently seeking to hire a full time Psychologist for our Mobile Mental Health Team based in  Bethlehem with mobility to West bank. This position starts middle of March 2016 for a period of 3 months with possible extension.

Main activities:
-Provide psychological support to patients according to MSF principles and protocols in order to improve the patients’ mental health.
-Support the implementation of psycho-education activities within the targeted community.

Requirements:
-Bachelor in Psychology / Counseling.
-Minimum working experience of 2 years in clinical practice.
-Experience working with people affected by violence.
-Experience in conducting individual/family/group psychotherapies for adults, teenagers and children.
-Experience in community psycho-education.
-Experience imparting trainings to organizations.
-Arabic and English essential (both written and spoken).
-Good written (history-taking) and computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point.

Additional qualities desired:
-Masters and/or specialization in Clinical Psychology.
-Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches and short term therapy.
-Previous experience with NGOs.
