Psychologist
Yes Theatre is a community theatre that uses artistic performances, drama and theatre workshops, performances, capacity building training for teachers in theatre based techniques, and activities of cultural exchange for community development. The overall objectives of YT are to contribute to; improve the psychosocial well-being of Palestinian children and youth through the use of Drama and Theatre, and to empower rights holders to know about, and claim their rights. Most of YT's activities are undertaken in cooperation with UNRWA- the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, and the Palestinian Ministry of Education. Yes Theatre's activities in the Hebron district annually reach an audience of 35,000 school students and hundreds of public audience members. YT's core programs are; Play4Kids, Kids4Kids, Drama workshops, Puppets 4 Kids, Taking Detention out of Palestinian Children, Yes4Youth, and Yes4 Future.
Yes Theatre’s work is based in the arts, child rights approach, educational and social entrepreneurship, peace-building, psychosocial well-being sector.
Yes Theatre is looking to recruit a Psychologist according to the following requirements:
Contract type: Full time
Contract duration: 1 year- renewable
Psychologist, Hebron Base (1 Position)
Starting date: March 01st, 2018
Duration:1 Full Time Contract, 12 months with possibility of Extension
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct assessment of mental health needs.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Conduct support groups and awareness workshops.
Maintain records, evaluate therapy outcomes and write reports
Contribute in developing a preventive plan in the psychology fields.

Requirements:
A Degree in Psychology, Community Mental Health, Psychotherapy or in any other relevant field (Bachelor Major in Psychology)
Valuable experience in training and supervising psychologists and Mental Health Field Workers (at least 2 years)
Experience in individual, family and group sessions.
Experience in MHPSS in Emergencies.
Experience in mental health training for medical staff and Para-medical staff.
Experience related to MHPSS assessment.
Experience in Community Psycho-education and training.
Experience in maintaining network activities including with, national or International NGO`s and official service providers.
Previous work experience for at least 2 years.
Knowledge of MHPSS international guidelines
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Managerial skills
To be able to work independently.
Excellent writing skills and Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
