Psychologist
MSF Spain is looking for a Psycholgist in Hebron to provide psychological support to patients according to MSF principles, standards and procedures in order to improve the patients’ mental health.

Accountabilities:
- Carrying out evaluation of mental health needs of patients and establishing a diagnosis and a plan of treatment.
- Identifying important risks (self-harm, suicide and violence), evaluating and implementing clinical strategies. Including discussion of risks with patients and developing a protection plan to avoid or reduce new events.
- Providing individual and/or group interventions for the most common Mental Health conditions, including but not limited, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic, psychosis and psycho-somatic conditions.
- Provide follow-up consultations to beneficiaries in need for on-going mental health support.
- Ensuring that patients’ clinical files are properly filled out and kept them confidentially.
- Registering the assessment/intervention sessions in SharePoint on daily basis.
- Reporting all their activities on time, keeping the quality as per MSF protocols.
- Managing the techniques and tools of psychological intervention according to the specific population.
- Keeping updated related to the most recent diagnostic tools regarding mental health. (DSM V-CIE 11, MSF Mental Health Guidelines).
- Collaborate with team members in providing patient centered multidisciplinary and culturally adapted care and refer adequately to psychiatric sessions based on needs.
- Ensure patients receive appropriate care and that those with lack of autonomy and/or medical needs received the support needed.
- Carry out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients (i.e. assessment of the evolution of their state of health and the identification of any emergencies or deterioration of the patient).
- Carry out and supervise administrative procedures and documents (fill in patient’s files, forms, con-sumptions, statistics, registers, etc.), ensuring an appropriate written/oral handover, and reporting any problematic situations and cases that may arise.
- Providing psychological support to patients according to MSF protocols to improve their mental health condition through individual consultations, co-consultations, group sessions.
- Facilitating group activities related to mental health (e.g. psychoeducation, therapeutic groups, etc.)

Education
Essential degree or diploma in Psychology .
Experience
Essential 2 years’ experience minimum as a clinical Psychologist
Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGO’s in developing countries.
Languages
Essential mission languages: Arabic and English.
Knowledge
Good computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel
