Psychosocial Counselor

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of:


1-Vacancy No : 117/2010
2-Duty Station : Tulkarem Clinic
3-Basic Salary : JD 546.79 that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
5-Other Benefits : Include Health Insurance and Provident Fund.

6-Qualifications :
-A university degree in psychology, social work or a related field.
-At least two years of experience in psychosocial counseling.
-Basic Computer skills.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Competencies:
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Excellent counseling skills and ability to work with female and male children, adolescents, adult
and elderly.
-Good knowledge of animation techniques with children.
-Creativity and ability to take initiatives.
-Ability to perform activities such as drawing, painting, music, dancing.

The Agency maintains the discretion to fill future vacancies for this position from the roster without re-advertising the vacancy.
