Psychosocial Support Officer

الوصف الوظيفي

Assist the multidisciplinary team in assessing the psychological needs of individuals affected by crisis situations, including individuals affected by injuries.
Provide counseling and therapeutic support, addressing emotional and psychological challenges. These include home visits and sessions.
Participate in training of emergency volunteers on psychological first aid and other relevant topics.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Participate in the capacity building activities and regular staff meetings.
Write technical reports and update the program’s database.

متطلبات الوظيفة

BA. in Psychology or counselling, or any other relevant field, from a recognized university.
Valid membership in the Palestinian Union of Social Workers & Psychologists.
At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably working with persons with disabilities and individuals affected by violence/crisis.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and reporting skills in Arabic and English.
Good computer skills.
Driving license is a must.
