Islamic Relief France/Secours Islamique France is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in1992 assists the poorest people through its emergency relief, rehabilitation, development & child welfare programs in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist regardless the race, religion or gender. Secours Islamique France (SIF) invites application from qualified international or national applicants for the following post:

Post Title: Psychosocial Support Project Coordinator (PSPC)

Location:   Gaza Strip
Duration:  6 months (with possible extension)
Department: Projects Division

Psychosocial Support Project Coordinator (Ref #: 2013/01// PSPC)                         

 To be responsible for the overall management of the Psychosocial Support Project (PSP) in Gaza Strip.

 Candidates must possess the following competencies:
-University degree in psychology, social sciences, or related field.
-Minimum of 3 progressively experience in similar field.
-Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment
-Experience of developing links with NGOs; INGOs, government agencies & other stakeholders.
-Experience of and commitment to participatory management and maintaining a supportive, open environment to ensure the transferring knowledge & development of all staff.
-Ability to move between West Bank & Gaza Strip.
-Commitment and sympathy to the plight of the poor and disadvantaged.
-Excellent written & spoken English as well as Arabic, French is a plus.
-Broad knowledge & understanding of Islamic principles as they apply to relief & development issues.
-Ability to work on owns initiative as well as a part of a team.
-Energetic and able to work under stressful conditions meeting strict deadlines.
-Respect for confidentiality, with diplomacy and negotiation skills
-Planning & budgeting skills.
