Public Relation/Projects Officer

 

The successful candidate will:
1. Develop and maintain public relations and funding strategies with international and local funding organizations
2. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships that will promote the hospital profile with representatives of community, patients, local public institutions and non governmental organizations, and other other health service providers in the area
3. Confer with production and support personnel to produce or coordinate production of public awareness activities relating to the hospital services through conferences, publishing articles in the newspaper, and other activities
4. Maintain contacts with the local and international media and respond to requests for information
5. Manage hospital regular and special events
6. Organize and support visiting supportive groups and individuals to the hospital
7. Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences, including newsletters and reports
8. Coach effective communication for the employees dealing with the public
9. Participate in the preparation of development projects plans
10. Prepare funding proposals and follow up on implementation and reporting to donors

Qualifications:
-Bachelor in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
-Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with an international organization
-Ability to study the objectives, promotional policies and needs of organizations to develop Develop and maintain public relations strategies that will promote the hospital profile
-Fluency in oral and written English. Knowledge of German and Italian is a big plus.
-Knowledge of international and local donor agencies requirments and procedures
-Knowldge and respect of the local culture
-Ability to communicate information effectively
-Commitment to providing quality results and services
-Self motivated - clear and deep thinker
-Strong identification with Caritas Baby Hospital values
