Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Quality Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in ensuring the quality and reliability of our diverse range of products, including web applications, mobile applications, and API services. You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify, document, and resolve software bugs and defects, as well as recommend enhancements to boost overall product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications, and API services.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the software can handle expected operational volumes.
• Detect, document, and track bugs and defects during testing..
• Collaborate with development teams for timely issue resolution.
• Offer feedback and suggestions to improve product quality and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in quality assurance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
• Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
• Experienced with automated testing tools, especially Selenium.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing tools.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, to support automation script development.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders.
