Quality Control Manger

International Relief and Development (IRD) is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization,
operating in the West Bank and Gaza since December 2007. IRD is seeking to hire qualified
Engineers in the West Bank for its ongoing projects under the Infrastructure Needs Program.
The positions are as follows:

Quality Control Manger

Projects objectives are :
a) Supply and install approximately I Okm of transmission pipelines to connect the existing
Burin Reservoir to the three new water storage reservoirs; construct three new on ground
water storage reservoirs, 500m3 each, in Madama, Asira AI Qibliya and Urif villages, supply
and install approximately 42km of pipelines for the three water distribution networks
in Madama, Asira AI Qibliya and Urif villages and furnish complete house connections for
these villages.
b) Supply and install approximately 14km of pipelines of various diameters for AzZawieh
distribution network.

Minimum qualifications :
-BS Degree or higher in Civil Engineering;
-Significant experience of not less than eight (8) years in quality control/assurance of infrastructure
construction of similar type and size to the construction work required under
this task order;
-Experience in establishing and implementing quality control programs andtraining;
-Strong management skills in directing project compliance with QA/QC plans.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the
English language.
