Recruitment Specialist
For 6 months with a possibility of extension
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
To manage the recruitment steps and give wide support to Human Recourses Coordinator.
Follow up the onboarding and related training needs under the supervision of HR coordinator.
KEY ACTIVITIES
Objective 1: Manage recruitment tasks under supervision of HR coordinator and according to AAH recruitment procedures.
- Manage recruitment request forms as needed.
- Pro-actively develop job descriptions according to the mission organigram and in coordination with line managers.
- Proactively draft and advertise vacancies announcement on relevant websites and networks.
- Download applicants’ CVs from people Ads, WhatsApp and other relevant channels and pre-select suitable candidates for the emergency response.
- Manage long-list and short-list regarding applicants of each post in coordination with line managers and HR Coordinator.
- Lead the emergency roster recruitment process, starting from technical tests up to final results in coordination with line managers.
- Lead the Gaza rotation team schedule and movement; follow-up with emergency pool and rosters available regarding selection of new candidates and plan their rotations.
- Establish a functional roster/ pool of candidates at mission level to ensure operational scale up of emergency responses in Gaza.
- Arrange the interview/briefing schedules for newly recruited employees according to AAH interviews protocol and attend interviews.
- Prepare job offer under selection step and check references.
- Send rejection emails for non-selected candidates when required.
Objective 2: Be training focal person in the mission.
- Prepare onboarding training needs report upon the request of HR Coordinator.
- Follow up and make sure that the onboard training plan is up to date.
- Ensure that all newly recruited staff and emergency roster teams have HEAT training during onboarding time.
Objective 3: Recruitment & Training Reporting
- Provide inputs on recruitment in the mission (Recruitment Progress reports)
- Update recruitment process on People Ads.
- Regular report on training, onboarding and recruitment progress to HR coordinator
- Keep track of conducted onboarding training for newcomer's mission staff.

Jerusalem ID holder, living in Jerusalem district.
Degree in Human Resources or any relevant field.
Human Resources Management tools such as organization charts, HR software, performance appraisal, job descriptions, staff training and development plans.
Competence based interviews knowledge.
2 years in human resources management (recruitment and training).
Experience in the sector is required.
Good communication and organization skills.
Resistance to stress.
Gender and diversity sensitiveness.
Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, web applications, HR software.
