Regional Technician-Agriculture Engineering

Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine (ESDC) is implementing a three years project that aims to develop olive’s farmers and cooperatives through cooperation with OXFAM ,funded by EC. ESDC seeks experienced and committed professionals for the post of a Regional Technician that will start
ASAP.

Title: Regional Technician(1)
Location:Jenin,Nablus &Tubas
Duration : Two years

Objective:
The Regional Technician will be responsible for, Coordination for the various field activities. Ensure the follow up of implemented activities. Follow up with materials suppliers. Need assessment for the various targets, farmers, cooperatives and associations, provide extension & field supervision.

Required Education:
University degree :BA in Agriculture Engineering –plant protection & production

Required Experiences:
Minimum three years experience in project coordination , working with communities and cooperatives, farmers and farmers group, mainly in olive sector development.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal communication
Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver license.
Working within a team and under pressure.
Report writing skills.
