Beit Jala Pharmaceutical Company is recruiting a motivated Research and Development Manager to work in its headquarter in Beit Jala, Palestine.

Job description summary

General supervision and management of all operations in the Research and Development Department to enhance and raise the efficiency of operational tasks, and to develop plans and strategies to achieve this.

Tasks and activities:

1. Setting the department's strategies in line with the company's strategy
2. Preparing annual plans
3. Setting quality Objectives for his department and work to achieve them
4. Setting work policies and procedures for the department and update them when needed
5. Monitoring and motivating employees and ensuring their commitment to the approved work procedures and policies
6. Following-up on the achievement of the KPIs and raise work efficiency.
7. Keeping up to date with the new developments in the industry and apply them in the company
8. Involving the department's employees in development programs that contribute to raising their level of efficiency
9. Work on producing new, innovative and modern products.
10. Preparing registration files according to the international standards.
11. Following-up of the staff, hold periodic weekly meetings for them, and arrange for a periodic monthly meeting to make the necessary report on the monthly achievement and present the work plan for the next month
12. Scale-up and optimization of manufacturing process; execution of pre-exhibit and exhibit batches; scale up and technology transfer from R&D to production to meet timelines.

Qualifications:

PhD or Master of Pharmacy or any related scientific discipline with an experience not less than 7 years, of which at least 5 years are in an administrative position, experience in the field of pharmaceutical industries is preferred.

High leadership skill and problem-solving ability

Proficiency in Arabic and English languages

Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal and project management skills
