Job Title:Research Fellow: Economics

Job Responsibilities:
Position Overview: Candidate should be able to produce relevant and original research in the Institute's principal areas of interest.

The Research Fellow will undertake high-quality independent academic research under the guidance and direction of the Research Director at the Institute, and will be expected to lead significant projects and to make a major contribution to the Institute's research and policy output.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
-Lead researcher or Co- researcher participating in the design and conduct of studies.
-Presentation of research, including dissemination at scientific conferences and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Qualifications:
-Advanced analytical & technical skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with peers, and mid-level researchers.
-Demonstrated expertise in the field, including publications in peer reviewed journals, is required.

Education and Experience
PhD in Economics or equivalent from an accredited university, with more than five years of experience as a full-time Research Associate; Or with one year experience as a full-time Research Fellow at an accredited University or Institution; and has published valuable scientific publications in his/her field of specialization after obtaining his/her PhD.

Language Skills:
Competent in written and spoken Arabic & English.
