Resident Site Engineer

Al-Quds University in cooperation with American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) invites interested  construction civil engineer  to apply for the post of "Rssicenc Site Engineer" fcr the project of:

"construction and Finishing of Faculty of Engineering Building", to be constructed at Al-Quds university main campus in Abu Dis. The project contract duration is 30 months.

Required Qualifications:

-BSc degree in civil/construction Engineering or related field.
-Member in the Engineer's Association
-Aminimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the supervision of construction of medium .large scale projects with at 3 years in a position equivalent to the required position
-Experience in project management,contracts administration,and technical & financial reporting
-Experience in cunstruction standards in Palestine
-Residency in or close to Abu Dis area or ability to reside in the area during the project period

Resident Site Engineer Duites :

-Overall site management of the project
-Supervise the work to ensure progress is maintained and standard are combiled with.
-review and develop contracts with subcontractors when needed
-review of contractors work plans and progress reports.
-Provide the owner with periodic progress report and updates refine needs requirements.
-Participate in discussion about the designs in order to ensure that scope and standards of work are maintained and budgets are adhered.
-Selection of samples and enforcing standards.
