Position Title: Risk Education Manager
Location: Gaza Strip or West Bank
Report to: Humanitarian and Emergency Program Manager
Duration: 12 months
MA’AN Development Center is an independent Palestinian non-profit organization, established in Jerusalem in January 1989. Relying on a human rights-based approach, community partnerships, and active participation, MA’AN works to enhance the resilience, empowerment, and realization of the rights of those most in need, the poor and marginalized groups and individuals, as well as unleash their latent capacities to enhance their active participation in sustainable development and their abilities to respond to and recover from crises.
MA'AN seeks to hire a competent (Risk Education Manager) responsible for leading the planning and implementation of risk education activities in Gaza. The Risk Education Manager will oversee the risk education teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the program's strategic alignment and effectiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of MA’AN risk education activities in Gaza.
- Manage and supervise the risk education teams, including Master Trainers and EORE/CPP Facilitators.
- Develop and update the risk education strategy and ensure its alignment with the overall humanitarian response.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, international organizations, and community leaders, to enhance the effectiveness of risk education programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of the risk education activities.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on the risk education activities and their outcomes.
- Ensure the integration of Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI) in all risk education activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, International Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing education or risk education programs in conflict-affected areas.
- Proven experience in project management and coordination.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and the specific needs of vulnerable populations in conflict zones.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
