International Medical Corps has been present in Gaza since 2009.
International Medical Corps is currently recruiting staff to be based in Gaza, for a US Agency for International Development funded project. Gaza 2020: Health Matters is a five-year intervention designed to improve the resilience of the health sector in Gaza by increasing access to and quality of emergency and essential health services provided by NGOs, CBOs, and private providers.

JOB SUMMARY
The Secondary Health Care Assistant will provide administrative support to the project team in order to ensure effective implementation of the subawards program to NGO and CBOs working in secondary health care activities in order ncrease availability of quality hospital services in Gaza Strip.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-To participate in implementing secondry health care component of this project in Gaza with effective day to day monitoring of its activities.
-To coordinate for program components among different staff as well as among program partners (Care, Mercy Core and Juzoor)
-To work with subawardees on follow up of their application and their feedback reports for the program
-To keep Database for the NGOs and CBO providing Secondary health care services in Gaza
-To participate in meetings related to the program with international Donors and the local related committees in coordination with all concerned parties.
-To assist in preparation of the regular reports related to the progress of the program activities.
Qualifications:
-University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Management , Management Information System or relate fields
-At least 3 years of working experience in health related organizations
-Demonstrated familiarity with the health system in Gaza, especially with the NGOs and CBOs that provide health care services
-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
-Excellent computer skills
