Islamic Relief (IR) is a humanitarian NGO working in Palestine since 1998. Islamic Relief helps the needy people without regard to creed, race, gender, or ethnicity. It works on achieving economic and social welfare through its joint development and emergency programmes with the local community. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for its offices in West Bank.
Title: Secretary
Ref: S/WB/36/2010
Duration: One year (Full Time)
Location: Ramallah
Main Duties:
Sorting incoming and outgoing mail. Keeping good filing records of the office (computerizes and manual filing). Answering phones and keeps appointments. Meetings minutes writing. Dealing with visitors. Travel & transportation arrangements. Following up the day-to-day paper work according to filing system. Helping in any related secretarial work.
Candidates must possess the following competencies:
-Diploma degree in secretary or related field.
-Two years experience in secretarial work
-Experience of designing, keeping and working with accurate Computerized data and manual records and books are essential.
-Good written and spoken English as well as Arabic language.
-Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
General Skills required for the first and third posts :
-English language skills (speaking and writing).
-Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
-Interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
-High report writing skills. And ability to prepare work plan.
-Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
-Ability and willingness to travel within West Bank districts.
