Job Purpose Summary
The Security and Crowd-Management Officers will be responsible for maintaining order and ensuring the safety of beneficiaries, staff, and distribution sites. They will implement crowd control measures, monitor entry and exit points, and respond to security concerns to ensure a safe and organized distribution process.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain order and ensure the safety of beneficiaries, staff, and the distribution site.
• Implement and enforce crowd control measures to prevent overcrowding or chaotic situations.
• Monitor entry and exit points to regulate the flow of people.
• Address and de-escalate conflicts or disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Coordinate with local authorities or security teams if additional support is required.
• Conduct routine checks of the premises to ensure a secure environment.

Required Skills and Experience

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, or a related field.

Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, crowd management, humanitarian aid operations, or related fields.
• Experience in handling large groups of people, conflict resolution, and crisis management.
• Strong ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Languages:
• Good communication skills in Arabic; basic English proficiency is a plus.
