World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking:

Senior Community Programme Officer - Jenin

The successful candidate will:
Work with stakeholders in a range of different development relationships towards the well-being of children in the communities.
Facilitate an empowering approach to formation and ongoing capacity building of new and existing community organizations for holistic sustainable development
Work closely with the Technical specialists to implement and monitor WV?s technical programs including raising the capacity of local partners in the requested area.
Support zonal manager ,technical zonal specialist , and other relevant team members in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes relevant to assigned areas
Work closely with the team, registered children, their parents and community partners to make sure that Sponsorship standards are mainstreamed
Prepare sponsorship 2.0 requirements such as child videos, child photo album, community photo album, community farewell videos are met within the agreed timeframe.
Ensure high quality implementation of the different technical projects.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree in social science, or related subjects to development
A minimum of 3 years? relevant experience including at least one year of development facilitation in and with communities
Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a proper standard of English
Creative and able to apply innovative thinking, partnership building & problem solving skills
Strong facilitation skills, including connecting, and building the capacity of community groups
Good analytical and writing skills; Basic understanding of design, monitoring, and evaluation
Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity, abilities to work as a team
Computer literacy; good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Valid driving license

This position is based in Jenin
