Senior Software Architect

Responsibilities:

• Build the systems architecture and each individual component.
• Assisting in research and use of industry standard frameworks and patterns.
• Control the architecture during the development iterations.
• Perform architectural assessment and gap analysis and help formulate the overall solution strategy and road-map.
• Guiding the teams to build high-quality software.
• Assisting in research and use of industry standard frameworks and patterns.
• Collaborate with scrum teams to ensure implementation is as expected.
• Implement critical components or logic for the product.
• Establish long-term architecture vision for the SQL storage system considering end user scenarios, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Make design choices, coordinate and oversee technical standards.

Job Requirements:

• BA degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science or any related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in an architecture or related discipline.
• Committed to delivering daily high-quality work.
• Prepared to dive into unknown challenges.
• Able to work on multiple projects.
• Ready to travel abroad (Europe) also for longer periods (3-6 month) for training or customer involvement.
• Excellent written/spoken English.
• Good written/spoken German is a plus.

• Proven experience developing strategic system architecture plans.
• Proven experience identifying, analysing and resolving system problems.
• Experience providing guidance and leadership to junior systems engineers.
• Good experience in developing scalable data platform and solutions.
• Excellent working knowledge of data modelling, data ingestion, querying, scaling, performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Java and object-oriented with good programming knowledge.
• Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise.
• Excellent knowledge with development tools & integrated build systems.
• Good understanding and experience with SQL.
• Excellent working in building APIs.
• Knowing agile development life cycle and development processes.
• Support client-agile development teams by providing architectural planning and guidance.
• General knowledge in Web technologies like JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, SASS, AJAX.
• Good knowledge in (Java-based) web technologies like JSF, JSP.
