Senior Developer-4 positions

ASAL ASAL Technologies is currently seeking qualified candidates for Four Senior Developer positions with the following general & technical skills. Developers are required to have strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to learn new things quickly. Work will be mainly with international clients with the latest technologies. • Self-starter, able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong Object Oriented Design experience.
• Solid understanding of relational databases.
• Sound fundamental understanding of n-tier software architecture.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with and enthusiasm for open-source technologies is desired.
• Ability to adhere to corporate coding and architecture standards.
• Excellent English Communication (verbal, written and analytical skills)
• The ability to coordinate, cooperate, prioritize, multi-task and motivate self and others
• Thirst for knowledge and how to apply learning to address current company projects and the ability to think out of the box
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and collaborate with project management to achieve high stakeholder satisfaction.
Java Technical Skills
• A minimum of 3+ years of professional development experience in Java Technologies.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience in Java and J2EE technologies
• SQL, XML, XSLT, JSP, JSF, JDBC, Struts.
• Experience using Eclipse, JBuilder and Java Swing experience is preferred.
• JUnit, JBoss, HTML and/or AJAX and experience with all phases of the software development life cycle is desired.
• Linux/Unix knowledge and experience is a plus.
.Net Technical Skills
• Minimum 3 years experience in application and web development utilizing the below technologies.
• .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5 with a particular emphasis on ASP.NET and C#.NET
• SQL 2000, 2005, relational database design, stored procedures and subscriptions, T-SQL.
• Advanced development and coding skills in CSS, HTML, XSLT, VBScript and XML.
• Experience with creating Windows Forms applications.
• Proficient with user interface (UI) concepts and creation.
• Knowledge of Ajax Components, VSS and Team Foundation Server is preferred.
• Development experience with Share Point Portal Server 2003 and/or MOSS 2007 is a plus.
