Job Title: Senior Developer / Team Leader
Ahleia Insurance Group, a top tier insurance company in Palestine, is seeking highly motivated, intuitive and results oriented Senior Developer to develop numerous programs and applications that will place Ahleia at the technological forefront within the Palestinian business community. The Senior Developer will play a central role in the company’s restructuring team and will be responsible to lead a small team while reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Development.  

Your responsibilities:
-Complete solution development and project management
-Identify the required resources necessary to complete all assigned projects with measured results
-Develop detailed project plans, define roles and responsibilities, and align appropriate cross-functional advisors for seamless execution
-Programming and Data Base management
-Ensure all assigned projects include best practices and carry the requisite communication and change management steps and activities necessary to ensure scalable and sustainable results
-Conduct routine and ad hoc post-mortem assessments and other tracking to ensure Head of Corp Dev. achieves or exceeds intended metrics and outcomes
-Leading a small team (1 DBA and 1 junior programmer)
-Establish a culture of accountability and excellence
-Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders
-Initiation of improvement initiatives in terms of systems and internal work methods

Requirements:
-Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
-English / Arabic expert fluency
-A minimum of 3 years relevant development experience
-Technologies:
-Programming language: (C#, ActionScript 3, PHP) - any additional languages is a plus
-Databases (MySQL/ SQL Server or Oracle)
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
