Senior Java Developer

A large International software Company is looking for talented software engineers in its office in Ramallah. With us you will be challenged to write world-class, mission critical software. You will program primarily in (Java products) and will be challenged to solve hard, real-world problems. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

A number of positions are currently available in Palestine Office   you may have the opportunity to travel internationally and to work directly with clients. Excellent communication skills will be asked of the candidate who joins our Palestine office as the role there is a customer-facing one.

The role will include, but not be limited to:

-Software Design & Architecture
-Java Development
-Test Driven Development
-Implementation and Testing
-Support
-Manage Change Control, Build and Deployment Processes

REQUIRED SKILLS

-J2SE / J2EE
-Web services, ESB integration experience
-RESTful architecture would be and advantage
-Hibernate / Spring / JMS would be an advantage
-Experience in agile development methodologies (XP, SCRUM) would be an advantage
-JDK 5 and/or 6
-A General understanding of Web services and FTP
-Comprehension of Object Oriented development and design
-SQL database knowledge and SQL script experience
-Web development skills eg. JavaScript, HTML, css required. Ajax an advantage
-Development IDE: IntelliJ Idea or Eclipse experience would be an advantage
-Experienced in working between teams

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- BSc Computer Science/ IT degree
-An applicable Java Programming Certification preferred / Sun Certification
-Minimum 2 years Product (Java) experience
-J2EE / J2SE experience
