Senior Manager - Architectural and Master Planning
Reports to:Vice President - Development and or the Project Director
Location:Ramallah. Palestine

Summary:
Reporting to the VP- Development and or the Project Director, The Architectural and Master Planning Senior Manager has the ultimate responsibility for managing the Architectural and Master Planning activities during the design and construction phases of the Project.

Specific responsibilities, duties and oversight will include:

1-Participating in the preparation of initial budgets to ensure that projects are realistically budgeted;
2-Organizing and attending regular progress review meetings and other meetings as requested by the management;
3-Directing Master planning and Design Development;
4-Applying value engineering techniques to the architectural materials and systems to ensure optimizing the projects in terms of cost, quality, procurement time, maintenance and durability.
5-Reviewing and verify claims and change orders related to architectural works;
6-Monitoring the implementation of appropriate QA/QC Policy(s) with regards to the architectural works and enforcing appropriate measures as and when needed;
7-Monitoring all architectural inspections and testing requirements to ensure the delivery of projects in accordance with the agreed quality and safety parameters;
8-Providing regular, transparent and reliable management reports;
9-Participating in the preparation of Project Management Plans; 10-Adhering to the approved contract administration procedures;
11-Conducting field verification of the physical progress and quality of completed works;
12-Ongoing performance reporting to the VP - Development and or the Project Director;
13-Coordinating with other AMAAR Departments/Units;

Education & Experience

1-12+ years of progressive relevant project and construction management experience in real estate and infrastructure developments and proven track record in completing projects with significant construction values;
2-College or university four-year degree in architectural engineering is required.
