Leaders Organization is known for its unique principles, values, and its track record for leading and implementing key economical empowerment and social/ political projects in Palestine
The Socioeconomic Program at Leaders Organization aims at supporting youth engagement in leading positive social and political change in Palestine as well as in becoming the drivers of a growing local economy. With this goal in mind.
Leaders is interested in recruiting a highly motivated professional for a Senior Projects Manager position to lead and manage key projects in order to bring the most impact on the ground.
Summary of Key functions:
Ensure that projects are implemented on time, within budget, and are achieving the intended outcome (s) with highest quality standards. Knowing that Leaders Organization has various key development projects, this role will be responsible for supporting, coaching, mentoring, and overseeing all projects from a project management perspective.
Description of Responsibilities:
1-Develop the framework, reporting structure, and the governance (policies) of Project Management in order to provide the senior management and other stakeholders with one full performance (scorecard) view of projects.
2-Work directly with project managers and Product Owners in order to plan, implement, and execute projects effectively.
3-Coach and mentor project managers/ coordinators/ product owners and other stakeholders on adopting best project management tools and standards. This person will be the go-to place for any project management issues, questions, concerns, training, etc.
4-Ensure project progresses are according to the plan.
5-Participate in the planning stage of key projects.
6-Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the various projects.
7-Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
8-Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (effective communication, governance, Microsoft Office Project, critical path analysis, etc).
9-Ongoing tracking of projects milestones and deliverables (indicators), budget, etc.
10-Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope, potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Qualifications :
Education:
-Relevant university degree; preferably a master degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Project Management; international development.
-Project Management Certified and/ or a proven track-record in leading and implementing key development or business projects.
Experience:
-More than four years in direct project management experience.
-Familiarity with economic empowerment/ development/ IT/ non-IT projects would be an asset.
-Familiarity with donor specific requirements in Palestine.
-Product Management experience is an asset.
-Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
-More than four years experience in people management.
-Proficient in project management software.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in spoken and written both English & Arabic.
Others:
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point.
Sound judgment, excellent analytical skills, strong networking and interpersonal skills, ability to plan, organize and coordinate work and to cope with a demanding workload is expected.
