Job Requirements & Submission Guidelines

Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Ramallah-El Bireh

Sustainable Engineering Solutions (SES), a multi-disciplinary consulting company located in Ramallah-El Bireh is seeking to hire a highly qualified candidate for its current vacant position of Senior Structural Engineer with the following minimum qualification and requirements:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering(preferably with focus of structural), additional technical and/or graduate university studies into structural engineering is a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

-    Minimum 12 years of demonstrable combined civil & structural engineering experience.
-    Minimum of 8 years of full-time structural engineering design creation and review experience.
-    Experience with AutoCAD required, experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
-    Able to create structural design models and to be able to evaluate output data of a structural design software, such as STAAD PRO and ETABS.
-    Able to conduct structural analysis using common United States’ based design & building codes, such as IBC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM.
-    Experience with standard site survey and geotechnical testing techniques.
-    Good client and stakeholder relationship building skills;
-    Effective communication with client’s project team.
-    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels and functions within the company;
-    A master’s degree will be considered as a plus.
-    Previous Experience in USAID projects is an asset.

LANGUAGES:

Fluent in Arabic, excellent English speaking and writing skills.
