Senior Structural Engineer

First Option is locally recognized consulting firm that provides engineering, architecture and
Construction management services in Palestine

First Option is seeking to hire a highly qualified candidate for the position of Senior Structural Engineer with the following minimum qualification and requirements:

 Qualifications:

-BSc Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with focus of structural)
-Minimum of 15 years’ experience in related field of work.

Specific Requirements:

-Proven Experience in Structural design standards, practices, techniques and concepts.
-Strong Knowledge of all aspects of design and construction process including in depth knowledge of
architectural construction materials and their application as well as considerable experience in the
production of design documentation including drawing and details, schedules and specifications is
essential.
-Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings and specifications is required.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels and functions within the
company.
-Computer skills in design software like Etabs , Sap, Staadpro….etc.
-Able to conduct structural analysis using common local and international design & building codes,
such as IBC, ACI….etc
-Experience in IBC Code requirement is a Must.
- Previous Experience in USAID projects is an asset.
