Senior System Administrator

ASAL Technologies is a leading Regional Software and IT Services company based in Ramallah – Palestine.

We are looking for Senior System Administrator, who can join our team and help take it forward to the next level.

Responsibilities
-Manage client servers in terms of OS maintenance, monitoring, upgrades.
-Troubleshoot and fix system issues related to server OS and configuration.
-Plan and implement backup and restore policies.
-Manage cloud infrastructure: cloud servers, cloud load balancers, dns zones.
-Responsible for systems scalability, high availability, automatic failover.
-Database administration using mysql, postgres and Redis.
-Maintain systems security and ensure to follow best practices.
-Write technical documentation and reports.
-Coordinate with other departments like development and prepare their infrastructure needs.

Required Skills
-Strong experience in Linux systems especially Ubuntu.
-Knowledge of scripting languages like bash , Perl , python.
-Experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Rackspace, or any other platform.
-Strong knowledge in mysql,postgres administration , clustering and replication solutions .
-Strong experience with linux open source software which includes : Apache, FTP, NTP, Django, Nginx, sshd , MongoDB,Redis,mysql,postgres.
-Hands on experience with open source CMS server configuration like wordpress, magento.
-Knowledge of Nagios monitoring system.
