Senior Technical Specialists

RTI (www.rti.org) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition. With a worldwide staff of more than 5,000 people, RTI offers innovative research and development and multidisciplinary services.

RTI International is requesting expressions of interest from qualified senior-level professionals for an anticipated higher education and vocational training project in the West Bank. The Activity will with Palestinian universities, technical colleges, and the private sector to introduce selected 21st century skills and global competencies into learning and teaching to make graduates more competitive in the local, regional and global labor markets. The Activity will also build capacity at selected higher education institutions to provide students with opportunities to enhance their employability, making them better prepared for the labor market.

Successful candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills including fluency in English. All positions are contingent upon award and funding.

Senior Technical Specialists: Technical specialists will be responsible for planning activities, developing work plans, providing technical leadership, and delivering results in their respective technical component.

Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate professional excellence in their technical areas of expertise and experience in relevant technical, management, administrative, and capacity building experience in the West Bank.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, international development or related and 7 years of experience (4 years with Master’s degree) in one or more of the areas listed below:

-Job placement/Career centers
-Youth employability
-Internship program development
-Gender and diversity integration
-Public/Private Partnerships
-Private sector networking and relationship building
-Labor Market assessments
-Entrepreneurship and Innovation
