Sewing and Embroidery Supervisor

The European Institute for Cooperation and Development, is an international non-profit organization committed to supporting social and economic development programmes in Palestine. IECD is seeking candidates to fill multiple positions.

Sewing and Embroidery Supervisor, Full time position-Aizaria Project for 1 year (Renewable)- starting at €800 euros/month
-Supervises and coordinates activities of the members of the Cooperative engaged in operating the sewing and embroidery workshop.
-Designs new product lines in an innovative and fashionable way.
-Trains members by demonstrating work methods and machines operation.
-Manufacture sample items for publicity and advertising for the public and for the members of the Cooperative to implement.
-Controls the production and quality in the sewing and embroidery department.
-Responsible and accountable for daily production flow and bottom line results.

Minimum Required Qualifications for the position:

1-Minimum 7 years prior experience in the same field.
2-Should have graduate degree from reputed university.
3-Good communication and leadership skills required.
4-Strong supervisory, interpersonal and staff support skills.
5-Ability to work and travel in the field.
6-Knowledge in management and accounting.
7-Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
