Site Engineer

Islamic Relief (IR) is a humanitarian NGO working in Palestine since 1998. Islamic Relief helps the needy people without regard to creed, race, gender, or ethnicity. It works on achieving economic and social welfare through its joint development and emergency programmes with the local community. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for its offices in West Bank.

Title: Site Engineer
Ref: SE/WB/33/2010
Duration: six months (Full Time)
Location: Ramallah
Project: Pre-School Development

Overall Responsibilities:
The Site engineer performs a technical, organizational and supervisory role on construction, rehabilitation and maintenance side of the Pre-School Development Project. provide direction andmanagement for implementing work plans, keep record of all project documents.

Candidates must possess the followingcompetencies:
-B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
-Related experience of 5 years preferably in supervising rehabilitation and construction projects.
-Experience in working in educational projects.
-Project management skills.

General Skills required for all applicants :
-Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
-Interpersonal skills and good communication skills
-Excellent computer skills
-Fluency in English (written and spoken)
-Excellent repot writing skills
