Social Worker

ACF (Action Against Hunger - Spain) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political,
non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.
In line with ACF's strategy in the Palestinian Territory to support the vulnerable population by enabling them to cover their basic water and sanitation needs food security and nutritional needs
ACF is recruiting for its Hebron office a For an initial 5 months period
The candidate will:
1-Participate in the design and implementation of any water and sanitation assessment,surveys or any other project identification study
2-Participate in data collection for baseline surveys
3-Participate in the design of water and sanitation concept papers and project proposals
4-Provide support to beneficiaries in social matters
5-Support the logistic department in the preparation of procedures,tenders,quotations,and other duties
6-Participate in information gathering from other NGO's ,instituations,ministries,local partners and communities on the water and sanitation situation in Hebron
7-Participate in meetings with the community and project personnel to define roles and responsibilties

Profile of the Candidate:
1-A minimum of Bachelor degree in development ,public health or related field.
2-Good knowledgeof emergency response and water and sanitation programmes
3-Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
4-Excellent computer skills (Word,Excel,PowerPoint,Access, and Outlook)
5-Excellent organizational and interpersonnel skills
6-Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
7-Good hands on project management skills
8-Flexibilty and ability to work under pressure and good team worker
9-Valid Driving License
