Medical Home Service Project

Doctors World-Wide – Turkey (DWWT) has been established in 2000 with a personal effort of a group of doctors in order to deliver aids and medical services to local communities which are victims of manmade hunger, poverty, drought, diseases, wars, disputes and natural disasters regardless their language, religion, ethnicity or gender.

Doctors Worldwide - Turkey is currently implementing “Medical Home Service “Project in Gaza Strip aiming to provide a comprehensive rehabilitation services to wounded people and people with disability in Gaza Strip.

Social Worker

Main Tasks and Duties:

Conduct office work and field work with the project team.
Assess the condition of each case and determine the cases which need intervention and offer solutions and raise recommendations for other team member.
Fill the provided form of home visits for each case.
Responsible for All Data entry in the project and follow up the electronic Archive in IT programs and keep it updated from the working teams on a daily bases, collecting and organizing a file for each case .
Prepare and organize for psychosocial activities with full coordination with the project coordinator before the implementation of the activities.
Write periodic reports according to the instructions of the project coordinator on a specific actions that been implemented by him or his team to his superior.
Provide any necessary medical information for the Beneficiaries and their families and the proper ways and mechanisms to deal with the current situation and tips to get to patient's situation on both psychological medical status to the best level.
Perform any needed training for the other project staff or beneficiaries and their family if needed, which will be determined by the project coordinator.
Organize an archive "both soft and hard copies" for their patients.
Coordinate with the rest of the team to implement the treatment plan and in case of any changes in the patient case.
Follow the administrative sequence and the chain of commands
Perform any tasks assigned by the project coordinator.
Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of patients and project work.
Took full responsibility for his action toward the patient's treatment according to his profession and his way of implementing these services.

Required Skills and Competences:

University degree in Social Service or any related field with a minimum experience of 2 years.
Good-looking and courteous in speech and able to persuade
Working through a team and working under pressure
Computer skills and Microsoft office
Preparing and writing reports by English and Arabic language
Fluent English language “Reading, Writing and speaking “Computer skills and Microsoft office and "preferable project programs".
Preparing and writing reports by English and Arabic language
Fluent English language " Reading, Writing and speaking"
Ability to work under emergency situations.
