Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for the Social Worker

Position, to be based at our Gaza office Palestine.

Main Job Purpose:

 To cover some activities and tasks in the Orphans & Child Welfare OCW department, follow up with active sponsored orphans, enrolling new orphans, and create a special community for all Human Appeal orphans to become the official platform for the OCW program due to the absence of partners currently in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by the Gaza Strip.

Accountabilities:

• Assist with administrational tasks relating to project management
• Following up with orphans and responding to their inquiries.
• Following up on the enrolling of new orphans
• Execute any upcoming activities.
• Commence the third phase of verifying the conditions of active sponsored orphans.
• Begin conducting medical check-ups for all orphans.
• Start implementing activities from the media plan

Requirements:

Education

Degree in Social Work, Humanitarian Development or in relevant fields 

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role in INGO

Computer Skills

Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite

Languages

Excellent in English and Arabic
