Social Workers
Position: Social Workers.
Location: Hebron,Nablus, Jericho.
Number of Vacancies: 3
Reports to: Director of Operations.
Technical supervision: Regional Humanitarian Program & Emergency Manager.
Position Summary:
The Social Worker (SW) play a critical role in PCRF, as they are responsible for representing the face and visibility of the organization on a local level, identifying and managing medical cases for treatment locally and going abroad, supporting volunteer missions and humanitarian projects under the Social Worker Supervisor , and ensuring a high level of professionalism and transparency in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Identifying Medical Cases in need of Treatment
- Communicate the role and activities of the PCRF on a continuous basis to all public and private doctors, hospital administrators, local and international NGOs, charities, women’s organizations and local governments who deal with health care for children and related activities.
- Develop complete files for cases.
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner with the families of treated children the work and objectives of the PCRF; providing each family brochures in Arabic.
- Submit clear and complete medical and social evaluations of the treated children and their families
- Identify local medical cases to be treated by visiting missions.
- Create and manage Google DRIVE folders for each and every case for treatment.
Medical Missions
Under the Social Worker Supervisor, support visiting medical teams in all their needs; being medical,
- Make sure that agreed plans and schedule for the missions are implemented smoothly and efficiently with no disturbance to the mission nor the local teams.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the local staff; and ensure their cooperation and support during cases for screening.
- Submit the list of patients for screening no less than two weeks before mission.
- Provide support to the visiting volunteering missions on all areas; including food, lodging, travel, and all their other needs.
- Update the missions’ surgery list on a daily basis to ensure the visiting team and local hospital staff have the most recent information.
- Document all expenses of the missions .
- Report any medical or social problems by the local staff, hospital administration, PCRF volunteers or families of children to Social Worker Supervisor.
- Submit a list and a report of the final screening and surgery list to management within one week of the last day of the mission to the Social Worker Supervisor.
- Document all follow-up reports of children after treatment and share with the Social Worker Supervisor.
Humanitarian Programs :
Monthly sponsorship and One-Time Sponsorship
- Make sure all sponsored children received the service or the wording with high quality and on time.
- Review social reports and ensure full documents to be reviewed the application and ensure full support documents to be submitted. to HPC for each case
- submit the payments related to the service received based on PCRF financial procedures.
- discuss discharged cases with the Humanitarian manager for a technical decision.
- provide needed reports and photos requested for the donors and follow up reports.
- Donor letters, photos, and videos must be submitted
- keep the confidentiality of information related to families m children, donors and vendors
Miscellaneous Humanitarian Projects
- Conduct needs assessment for HP
- Use and update Trello for all humanitarian projects.
- Identify possible projects in the area in coordination with the HP Department.
- Prepare lists of potential beneficiaries, and share with HP Department.
- Manage the budget for every project, in cooperation with HP Department and the Procurement
- Oriente and supervise any local or international volunteers on the project’s and organization’s goals and objectives.
- Perform regular field visits to HP to monitor progress for ongoing projects, and provide feedback and evaluations for ended ones.
- Document the implementation of all HP and share files and with HP Department;
- Document with photos and videos the project for donors.
- Ensure that recipients are medically and economically eligible for assistance and that they haven’t been part of previous projects unless approved by HP Department.
- Provide clear and documented accounting for HP Department and Accounting Department on all projects.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain office equipment and report changes to Social Worker Supervisor immediately.
- Respect the office rules and regulations of working hours.
- Obtain complete and comprehensive patient records to put into systems.
- Provide complete and comprehensive financial expense reports on monthly basis to the DOO.
- Follow HR, procurement, and financial rules and policies.

Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum Skill Requirements
- 3 to 5 years field experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Social Work, Social Sciences
- Fluency in using Google Apps & and other PCRF Platforms
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
Communication
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic language spoken adequately
- Accurately prepares written correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional across languages.
- Listens to others and accepts input from team members.
- Dress and speak in a professional and polite manner to all volunteers, staff, beneficiaries and others.
- No political or religious actions on personal social media or within working hours that violate the ethics or values of the PCRF are permitted.
