Software Design Engineer (SDE), MS-Cortana

ASAL Technologies is a leading regional Software and IT Services company based in Ramallah – Palestine.

Microsoft AI and Research Group is seeking senior and junior software engineers to join Microsoft Cortana team at ASAL Technologies.

The project involves developing new experiences, apps/services, frameworks, and cross platform technologies in Cortana, Bing, and Skype platforms.

Job Requirements:

B.Sc. in computer science, software/computer engineering, or related disciplines.
Strong knowledge in core computer science areas.
Solid object-oriented programming skills and OOD patterns.
Strong theory/algorithms and very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real problems.
Knowledge in mobile applications, agile software development, and multiple release cycles.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Highly motivated and self-reliant individual with true willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to act proactively.
Extra credit: Experience with mobile application development, cloud services, web scripting languages, and/or Microsoft platforms/technologies.
Experience with mobile personal assistants is a plus
