Software Development Engineer (SDE)


Client project:

A large international software company is building new products and technologies and is seeking senior and junior software engineers to join an outsourcing project at ASAL Technologies. The project involves producing agile applications, frameworks, and cloud/web services. The new applications and services interact with different platforms to enable new sets of features, capabilities, and products for customers.

Job Requirements:

-B.Sc. in computer science or computer engineering.
-Strong knowledge in core computer science areas.
-Solid object-oriented programming skills and good grasp of tools used in the particular research discipline.
-Strong theory/algorithms and very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real problems.
-Strong analytical and organizational skills.
-Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating prototype systems.
-Hands-on experience in agile software development, database/web systems, and multiple release cycles.
-Methodical approaches to solving technical challenges with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
-Highly motivated and self-reliant individual with true willingness to work as part of a team.
-Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to learn new technologies and to act proactively.
-Extra credit: Experience with web services, web scripting languages, Java, and Microsoft platforms/technologies (C#.Net, Windows Azure, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, C++, and TFS).
-Experience with mobile application development (on WP7, Andriod, or iOS), data mining, search engines, and/or multimedia/entertainment applications is a plus.
