IMG (International Management Group) is an intergovernmental organization involved in monitoring and in implementing EU funded projects in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

IMG is soliciting applications for the position of a Software Engineer and looking for a dynamic, highly organized professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a mid-term engagement.

Tasks:
Under the direct supervision of the IMG ISE, the software engineer will perform the following duties:
-To actively participate in all phases of the software development
-To develop reporting components and databases according to the documentation and the good software development practice
-To produce and update relevant technical documentation,
-To assist in the installation, setup and update of licensed software and administration and maintenance of servers and clients.
-To perform his/her duties under technical supervision and guidance of a IMG ISE.
-To report to IMG ISE about his/her activities on a weekly basis.
-To carry out any additional tasks assigned by IMG ISE, in line with his/her skills and competences
and the project scope.

Qualifications and Experiences
The minimum requirements for the position of the Software Engineer are :
-BA or higher in Computer Science or related fields
-3 years of related professional experience in software development.
-Experience in Windows and Web applications development,
-good knowledge of relational database systems and reporting in general.
-Proven expertise in database development using Microsoft technologies, and specifically VB.net, C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server.
-Excellent knowledge of SQL and proven MS SQL Database administration experience.
-Strong back-end database development skills with data modelling, table creation, stored procedures development, SQL profiler and SQL performance/analysis issues, experience with DTS packages and multi-language data content.
-Minimum of 1 year of experience developing reports using off the shelf reporting solutions.
-Working experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 or higher is advantage.
-Fluent in English and Arabic.
-He/she should be creative and sensitive to the demands of all the principal stakeholders at the project sites as well as relevant government and local institutions.
The incumbent should have good inter-personal and team work skills. He/she should have demonstrated capacity to take initiative and to be accountable for results; and, have the ability to make affective use of required computer software and other equipment relevant to the post and provide effective support in relation to work conducted by colleagues.

Employee will work in Jerusalem and shall be available to travel upon request to the West Bank
