Human Resources Manager

St John Eye Hospital is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem,the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is located in Jerusalemand in recent years has expanded its services with the provision of Clinics in Hebron and Anabta. In addition to our extensive range of specialistservices we also provide services within the community through our OutreachTeams which travel throughout the West Bank.We seek to recruit a high caliber, dynamic and energetic Human Resources Manager to be responsible for all HR functions throughout the WestBank.

To succeed in this role you will need to be tenacious, confident and assertive with excellent communication and listening skills that allow you to build constructive relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA Degree in Business Administration, preferably majoring in HR management

• Postgraduate HR study leading to membership of a recognized professional HR organisation would be desirable.

• Aminimum of 5 years experience as a senior HR practitioner, with strong all round generalist experience.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is essental. Working knowledge of Hebrew would be an asset.

• An up to date in depth knowledge of Labour Laws and Regulations applicable in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

• Proven experience of advising managers on disciplinary issues and employee relations. Along with experience of developing and implementing

employment policies and guidance.
