Staff Nurse

St John Eye Hospital is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is located in Jerusalem and in recent years has expanded its services with the provision of Clinics in Hebron and Anabta. In addition to
our extensive range of specialist services we also provide services within the community through our Outreach Teams which travel throughout the West Bank.
We seek to recruit two high caliber Nurses on a temporary basis (approximately 2/3 months) to cover long term staff absence. You can be either a Staff Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse but you must hold a recognised Ophthalmic qualification. As part of this
role you may be required to travel in the Outreach Van to locations in the West Bank to treat patients.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
Staff Nurse
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Ophthalmic nurse training certificate
- Ophthalmic nursing experience
- Mentorship training certificate (desirable)
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Licensed Practical Nurse training (either Palestinian or Jordanian board)
- Minimum of 2 years ophthalmic nursing experience
- Competency in performing basic ophthalmic procedures / using a slit lamp
- Ophthalmic nurse training certificate
