Position: Storekeeper 

Type:  Contract/Temp , On-site  

Location:  Gaza, Palestine  

Salary: ILS 3,752 per month 

Reporting to: MAP Medical Activity Manager  

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and dispatching commodities accurately, preparing and maintaining warehouse documents, conducting daily inventory checks, inspecting and reporting on commodity quality, safeguarding commodities, monitoring warehouse conditions, training staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, managing stock rotation and disposal, maintaining inventory records, coordinating freight and equipment movement, inspecting deliveries, applying warehouse regulations, maintaining hygiene standards, updating bin cards, ensuring accurate documentation, and performing quality control on incoming goods.

The ideal candidate would have a high school diploma or equivalent experience in warehouse management, with proven expertise in storekeeping and using logistics databases for routine reporting. They should possess experience managing warehouses that handle food and non-food items, as well as a background in inventory management and processing invoices.
