Teacher Professional Development Specialist
Chemonics International, a leading international organization based in Washington, D.C., seeks Teacher Professional Development Specialist candidates for an anticipated early grade reading project in the West Bank funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). We are seeking individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Teacher Professional Development Specialist will coordinate planning and implementation of strategies to advance teacher professional development, coaching, and mentoring.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
-Experience working on early grade reading programs preferred.
-Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in teacher professional development program’s design and implementation.
-Extensive experience in collaboration with government and ministry counterparts, and local capacity development.
-Ability to manage and conduct training activities for master trainers and teacher trainers.
