Chemonics International Inc., a leader in global development, seeks Short-Term Technical Engineers under the following positions for its USAID-funded Enhanced Palestinian Justice Program (EPJP) in Al-Bireh.

Background:
The Enhanced Palestinian Justice Program (EPJP) is supporting legal institutions to develop more effective and competent justice sector institutions that are accountable to the public and respond to the needs of citizens. Project activities are designed to increase efficiency, fairness, and responsiveness to the public. One of the project interventions is to enhance the environment of the Regular and Family Courts through the Renovation in order to create a more enabling working environment for the employees as well as for the clients of targeted justice institutions, helping them providing more efficient and timely services for the clients of partner justice institutions.
Education, Qualifications and/or Equivalent Experience:
A bachelors’ degree or higher in the related position.
More than 10 years of experience in overseeing design and implementation for major construction and refurbishment projects.
Hold registration/certification documents for engineering, design and oversight valid under the laws of the Palestinian Authority.
Previous donor experience, especially with USAID Funded Projects, preferred.
Advance knowledge and ability to comply with International Building Code (IBC).
