Mercy Corps is implementing the Palestinian Community Assistance Program funded by USAID that aims to pave the way to a brighter future for Palestinians through social and economic relief and recovery by meeting basic human needs and laying the foundations for long-term recovery in Gaza.


In this context Mercy Corps invites all registered suppliers and companies in Gaza Strip to participate in the Food Processing tender required under the Short Term Employment Program.


The following conditions apply:
-The supplier must be registered in the official quarters
-Prices must be ZERO VAT, and the supplier must provide a Zero Vat invoice.
-Tender documents can be obtained starting from Tuesday 30 July 2013 during Ramadan working hours, from 8:30 AM to 02:30 PM at Mercy Corps’ Office addresses as follows:
Mercy Corps Gaza Office, Ahmed Orabi Street, 2nd Floor, Abu Ghalioun Building.
-The tender documents must be delivered before 12:00 PM on Wednesday   14 Aug 2013, at Mercy Corps’ offices as above. The tender will be opened and reviewed by Mercy Corps bid evaluation committee and companies representative.
-The committee is not obligated to purchase goods or contract with the lowest prices.
-The supplier must provide Mercy Corps with a chain of custody documents to prove that items required in the tenders are legally imported. These documents should be submitted along with the tender.
-Bids will be opened at 12:30 pm on Wednesday   14 Aug 2013 in the presence of the Mercy Corps bid evaluation committee and the companies’ representatives in Mercy Corps Gaza office
