It takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is looking for a candidate to fill in the following position:

Purpose of the Role
- The LnD Trainer and Integrity Adviser delivers learning and development programmes according to the objectives set for the delegation. He ensures that the administration and logistics for all learning activities run smoothly, facilitates LnD courses within the delegation, give the necessary support to the regional trainers in the online facilitation and ensure the digital learning management for each course.
- S/he also supports cultural organizational change and principle-based, ethical decision-making, by advising the delegation in implementing the Code of Conduct framework and integrity roadmap.
Main Responsibilities
- Carries out and provides support for learning and development programmes, mainly Welcome to the ICRC and Staff Integration Programme (SIP).
- Organizes, adapts to the audience and facilitates the Learning and development courses in English and Arabic.
- Supports analysis and evaluation learning and development programmes.
- Carries out reporting related to his/her function.
- Establishing the yearly course planner.
- Provides efficient and timely technical and administrative support to course participants and deliverers.
- Manages the administrative support to ensure that courses run smoothly. In particular, receives and processes applications, prepares and sends correspondence giving course details, prepares materials, programmes and content and collects assignments. Assists with all issues related to the organization and venue of courses.
- Ensures the smooth running of events with the focus on the participant experience.
- Using the Learning Management System, creates sessions, registers participants, animates the forum and sends assessment questionnaires to session participants.
- Co-facilitate the digital learning support offer to participants for each programme
- After the end of the course, processes invoices and conducts data validation and breakdown; records course completion for each participant and enters statistical information.
- When applicable, contacts external providers (consultants, etc.) and provides timely administrative and logistic support to participants.
- Ensures a training relays network is in place within the delegation and give the necessary support to the concerned colleagues to implement LnD activities within their remit.
- Maintains a coherent archiving system in collaboration with the Information Management Unit. Stores, maintains, retrieves and supplies information using both computerized and manual-based systems for all courses.
- Contributes to the quarterly MfR as well as the LnD NAME activity report, compiled and sent by the LnD Unit, including the respective statistics.
- Under the supervision of the Country HR Manager, drafts the training policy of the delegation and keep it updated at all times.
- Provides guidance and support to managers and staff in response to their questions regarding the Code of Conduct and related policies and guidelines.
- Conducts capacity-building activities within the delegation through information-sharing, dialogue and training, in order to:
1) enhance staff awareness and understanding of their roles and responsibilities in nurturing a culture of integrity;
2) foster positive ambition for principle-based, ethical decision-making;
3) support staff in making ethical choices when fulfilling the ICRC’s mandate and commitments with respect to people affected by conflict or other violence.
- In coordination with the delegation’s Code of Conduct facilitator and the Regional Integrity Adviser, supports the delegation in identifying training needs and developing and implementing a training plan; tracks and evaluates training efforts and training completion rates
- In collaboration with the Code of Conduct facilitators and Risk and Assurance Managers (field-based, métier/function-based and within the Ethics, Risk and Compliance Office (ERCO)), ensures that risks related to fraud and sexual misconduct as assessed by the delegation, as well as ERCO root-cause analyses of misconduct, are regularly and appropriately translated into preventive and risk-mitigation activities at delegation level.
- Feeds back integrity-related trends and analyses to the Regional Integrity Adviser and Code of Conduct facilitator.

Job Requirements and Experience
- University degree or diploma in a relevant field
- At least 5 years' ICRC field experience or 6-9 years’ experience in training & development design and delivery
- Excellent command (written and spoken) of English. Hebrew is an asset.
- Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of the Palestinian and Israeli labor lawsDesired technical skills
- Proven Learning programmes’ design experience
- High degree of initiative and organization, ability to work with limited supervision as well as strong priority-setting skills
- Strong relationship management
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven capacity to work in a stressful environment and follow tight deadlines
- Ability to adhere to the organizations work ethics and code of conduct
- Ability to effectively work in a team
- High attention to details
- Valid Israeli driving license
